<The knob closest to the neck is the master volume, back and closest to the pickup is the blend control. Directly down from the blend control is the midrange cut/boost control, which is push/pull allowing access to two different midrange frequencies. The stacked knob to the rear includes the treble cut/boost(top knob) and bass cut boost(bottom ring) controls. There is a gain control accessible through a small hole in the control cavity cover(on back of instrument), this allows you to adjust the output of the preamp to match the input sensitivity of your amp or a recording console, or to match the gain of another bass>
